Water Boreholes - The Process

1. Land survey (hydrogeologist's report)

For anyone considering a borehole, the journey begins with a land survey, conducted by hydrogeologists. This personalised report is crucial and becomes your property once completed. If you already possess a hydrogeologist's report, we are more than willing to work from that as well.

Based on this report, we can provide a detailed quotation for the borehole construction. Upon acceptance of the quotation, we'll visit your site to discuss the report's findings. This visit is an excellent opportunity for a face-to-face meeting, allowing us to determine the location for the borehole. We also offer water diviner/downer services to enhance our understanding of your land and the likelihood of finding water.

2. Drilling the borehole

Once you approve the quotation, we schedule the drilling to commence at your convenience. Typically, drilling a domestic borehole takes 3-4 days, while a commercial project might require more time, depending on the depth and complexity. It’s important to understand that drilling will create some inevitable mess from the removed materials and water. We’ll work closely with each customer to manage the deposits effectively, depending on the drilling location.

3. Pump testing and water quality & quantity assessment

We highly recommend conducting pump testing and water assessment. This step is crucial for understanding the underground water characteristics and determining the necessary pumping and treatment methods.

4. Pump installation and systems

The final stage involves installing the appropriate pumping system, guided by the test results. The system chosen will be compatible with both the borehole and your specific needs, ensuring the water is suitable for its intended use. We offer a range of systems, each designed to cater to different types of water usage.
